:: Covered field in an elaborate interconnected vine drawing together delicate arabesques, scrolled leaves, buds, blossoms, floral palmettes and cross sections. Outer border in a natural camel shade, with narrow banded inner borders unusual for the type and age. Colors and shades include: Pale dusty magenta, camel, dark navy blue, sand, dusty chestnut, pale coffee brown, copper, and more. Condition notes: Areas of pile and knot heads. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Period correct faintly painted carpet. Multiple areas of expert restoration throughout. One end measures 3'5" whereas the opposing measures 3'8". This variation is within normal margins for hand knotted rugs of this type, age, and size.
